Routines
Reading
Please support your child by ensuring that they read regularly at home. Reading books will be sent home on a Thursday. Please can they be returned on a MONDAY. Don't forget Reading Eggs as a fantastic resource to help your child to make progress in reading.
Spellings
Spelling tests are every Friday. New words will be sent home weekly.
Please take the time to help your child learn their spellings at home each week.
Forest School
Don't forget your wellies or old shoes and a warm, waterproof coat every Wednesday as we go outdoors whatever the weather!
P.E and Games
The children are encouraged to wear joggers or leggings to school on gym days, velcro shoes are much easier for children. We will have indoor PE on Monday afternoon and outdoor PE on Thursday afternoon.
Please ensure that your child has plenty to drink throughout the day, especially on a Wednesday as they tend to get quite thirsty after gym.
Some of the children are getting quite hungry at break time so if you would like to put a piece of fruit in their bag for break that's fine.
